HIGHLANDER RACK FOR SERIES 2 DISCOVERY

Safety Devices has introduced a roof rack for the Series 2 Land Rover Discovery to the UK and European markets, supplementing the company’s highly popular Highlander version for earlier models of the best selling 4x4.

Designed to be ‘easy on the eye’ the Safety Devices Highlander rack faithfully follows the stepped contours of the Disco’s roof-line and is available for models with and without sun roofs.

The rack, which is fitted in place by high capacity gutter clamps, has built-in mountings for four front, and one rear, spotlamps.

Manufactured in high quality 25mm tubing the rack is CAD designed, jig built to ensure accurate fitment, and fully welded for maximum rigidity and safe load carrying. It is coated against corrosion with zinc based powder coat and then finished in black.

In common with many items in Safety Devices range of leisure, work and competition parts for Land Rover models, the rack has been developed from experience gained designing and supplying equipment to Land Rover vehicles taking part in Camel Trophy and Trek expeditions.
