Welcome to our Summer Bumper Issue- the fun starts here!
This month we start no less than FOUR brand new series: Global Overland will be following a couple in their 2 year long trek from Australia to London; Peter Lamb starts his 'Complete Guide to Off Road Driving'; Mick Farmer from On Course 4WD starts his regular look at living and driving in Uganda and we try to dispel some of the nasty things people think about Diesel with a series charting the history, development and current use of the fuel in 4x4 vehicles.
We will be launching our own range of 4x4 parts and accessories at the Billing Land Rover Show, with an exciting new on-line store to follow soon after. We've spent over a year researching the market and we've found some pretty amazing bits of kit that you probably haven't seen before.
If you are going to Billing then come and see us on stand B3/4.
We've also been working on another project that we'll be telling you about very soon, suffice it to say that if you've ever been frustrated by the quality of some brands of Workshop Manuals you'll definately like what we've got in store for you.
Along with the introduction of our on-line store we'll be switching to a new internet server, coping with the millions of hits we get every month was starting to take its toll on the existing server, the new one will have all the bells and whistles and guaranteed connections to make sure you'll get onto your favourite 4x4 web site first time, every time.
We hope you all have a very good Summer (or winter if you live on the underside of the planet!) this is usually the best time to get out there in your 4x4 and start to enjoy it in the way it was intended rather than just as a big shopping trolley
Keep Off Roading!
Best Regards
Simon Ward-Hastelow
