Getting to this show has always been awkward for us. Although it is less than an hour's drive from our main office it always coincides with the Billing Land Rover show.
Anyway, this year we were determined to get there so we went on the first day of the show - Wednesday. Probably not the best idea as it turned out. It had been raining continuously for two days previously so the site was well bogged down and being the first day of the show therewere still a number of exhibitors that had not finished setting up, some had still not got there at all by the time we left. Despite this we had a good day.
If you are into Military Vehicles or just the history of the various military forces in general this is a show not to be missed. Every conceivable type of veicle was on show from WW2 despatch motorcycles to the largest of transporters and everything in between. All we could keep commenting on was "where do they keep it all" owning a 5m long Land Rover is one thing but owning a vehicle that could be 20m long and 3m wide is something completely different.
