4x4 show in Val d'Isere cancelled

In 2008 the original show organisers pulled out of the event, prefering to host an alternative event elsewhere. Undaunted by the challenge a group of local residents and enthusiasts picked up the reins and set about organising the event themselves.
This year was to see a new look show 'Mountain Sessions' which was going to incorporate not only 4x4 cars, but all forms of off roading activities between the 13 and 17th August.
However, the organisers have now received two cancellations from major constructors, so have made the decision to cancel the whole event.
It is a sad and significant loss to the European 4x4 calendar.
