Appropriately
444 will be produced all individually numbered. This special Navara
will look harder than ever before at a price to make any ‘ANIMAL’*
lover run for cover: £18,995 + VAT for the manual. Also, all owners
will be placed in a special free draw to decide which five trucks out
of the 444 run will be fitted with additional special equipment at no
extra cost.
The toughest
Navara yet is based on the just launched 2008 model year 2.5 dCi Navara
Outlaw double cab plus optional Premium Pack. It comes equipped with
such luxuries as electrically adjusted front seats, leather upholstery,
in-dash 6 CD changer, specially logo’d floor mats, chrome door mirrors
with integrated indicators, 17” alloy wheels, cruise control and an
electric sunroof. To this list is added a hand polished stainless steel
styling bar behind the cab area, head turning DIE HARD 4.0 body decals
with a shattered glass effect, plus the individually numbered tailgate
badge. A version with automatic transmission will also be available at
£20,095 (+ VAT).
To match the
rugged criteria of the vehicle only three colours qualified for the
privilege – Flame (proof) Red, Eye of the ‘Storm Grey’ and a Walk on
the Darkside – ‘Metallic Black’.
Five of the 444
trucks will be more prized than others. Once all the vehicles are sold,
and it’s not expected to take long, all the new owners’ names will go
into a hat and numbers 1, 4, 44, 400 and 444 will be randomly allocated
and in addition will receive a free specification upgrade as found on
the top of the range Aventura model. The additional equipment over the
standard NAVARA DIE HARD 4.0 includes a voice activated DVD satellite
navigation with a full colour 7” screen and a premium audio with MP3 CD
compatibility worth £1200.
Anyone not lucky
enough to get their hands on one of these limited edition Navaras
needn’t worry to much. Nissan is offering a unique opportunity to win
the 40th NAVARA DIE HARD 4.0 through a competition run by
The Sun newspaper on 6 July, two days after the film’s general release.
DIE HARD 4.0, the
latest chapter in the enormously successful Die Hard franchise, on
general release from 4 July, takes action to the next level as
Detective John McClane (Bruce Willis) confronts a new breed of
terrorism. A DIE HARD 4.0 accessory pack is available for £755 inc.
fitting & VAT which includes a front styling bar to protect the
bumper, rear parking sensors to make parking more of a miss than a hit
affair and chrome lashing rails in the load bed area.
If you want to
cover up the load area there’s nothing as tough as the Armadillo roll
top priced at £1495 inc fitting & VAT. Available in black or silver
it has a carrying capacity of 500kg and can be securely locked into
three different opening positions to cater for different sized loads.
But… be quick as there will only be 444 of you out there.
